“He was aware of another presence inside. Someone powerful.”

Revenge, hate and justice often get entangled with each other, and in the process, what is right often gets confusing. And that forms the crux of Aham, where the lives of a demon princess, Vaanee and a Rekhyt warrior, Rwiju are set to collide with each other.

But does one being right mean that the other is wrong? It is an answer that they must find within themselves, before the three worlds collide in a war that will change the fates of all.

Aham is a fantasy novel that revolves around two people: Vanee, a powerful demon princess who is out for her revenge and Rwiju, a young and exceptional Rekhyt warrior. They are on a journey to discover their strengths and true identity. The world they live in turns out to be full of secrets and mysteries which are yet to be unfolded just by them. The book is a perfect blend of mythology and fantasy.

The plot of the book was really interesting and gripping. The beginning was quite promising and intrigued me a lot. The pacing was a teeny bit fast but this was not that noticeable as the plot in itself was quite remarkable! I won’t go much into the ending as the second book is on it’s way so I CAN’T WAIT to read what happens next.

The characters were quite unique and interesting to read about. I liked how the narrative changed back and forth between the main leads and the side characters. This really helped in better representation of the plot and the character traits.

“Victory is not about just killing. It is team effortโ€

Writing was pretty impressive as well. There were times while I was reading the book, it did not seemed as if this is the work of some debut author. The writing seemed quite well built and was diverse in it’s nature as well.

This book is a great treat for the fans of fantasy which involves diverse characters, representation of other culture and strong female leads.
