Today, I am delighted to host the Blog Tour organized by TBR and Beyond Tours for Sunkissed!

A lighthearted and swoony contemporary YA romance by fan-favorite author Kasie West about a girl who finds that a summer spent at a family resort isn’t as bad as she imagined…and that falling in love is filled with heartache, laughter, and surprises!

After being betrayed by her best friend, Avery is hoping for a picture-perfect summer. Too bad her parents have dragged her and her sister to a remote family camp for the entire summer. And that’s not even the worst part. Avery also has to deal with no internet, a cute but off-limits staff member, and an always-in-her-face sister.

But what starts as a disaster turns into a whirlwind summer romance as Avery embarks on an unexpected journey to figure out what she truly wants and who she wants to be.

OK so I will be VERYY honest here. the fact that Sunkissed is a book written by Kasie West i already knew I was gonna LOVE IT! AND there is no denying that after I was done reading it, I realized that it’s now a part of my all time favorites!! As the synopsis says the story follows a girl named Avery Young for whom life is pretty predictable and music is her life. After a fight with her best friend, she and her social media addicted sister Lauren gets dragged by their parents to spend an entire summer at a summer camp amidst the woods. The pros – Avery gets to avoid confronting her best friend, and the cons – live three months without the Internet. There she meets the charming, and handsome guitar-strumming Brooks and his band. But Brooks and his band belongs to the summer camp employee, which makes him off-limits for dating. Still Brooks and Avery are obviously attracted to each other and instead they strike a deal to help each other discover themselves.

“Sometimes staying in the box we’ve made for ourselves is so easy. It’s comfortable and familiar in there. And a lot of times, the people around us want us to stay in there, too, because that’s how they’ve always known us: in that box.”

In a plot where sooo much is going on especially in a Kasie West’s book, I ensure you that it’s going to be a great ride! All the little details were really played out soooo well! No unnecessary dragging, the speed of the storyline was great and not a single plot hole!

THE CHARACTERS ARE REALY GOOD!! Be it the side characters or the main leads ALL OF THEM were a lot of fun to read about. I won’t go into much details about them but I can assure you that they will definitely bring a huge smile on your face!

The writing style, without a doubt was really engaging! It does not need much words to express how good it was. I can assure you that once you start to read West’s writing there is no way out until you finish the entire book!
